Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Genoa Central). They were the clear victor by an 11-1 margin over the Hope Bobcats on Tuesday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Genoa Central now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Hope, they dropped their record down to 0-5 with the loss, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Genoa Central will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Warren at 4:30 p.m. As for Hope, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Hope Bobcats duke it out with Bismarck Lions at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. They have given up an average of 11.4 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
