Volleyball Game Preview: Lexington Christian Eagles vs. Henry Clay Blue Devils

Lexington Christian hasn't had much luck against Henry Clay recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Eagles are taking a road trip to take on the Blue Devils at 7:30 p.m.

On Tuesday, Lexington Christian came up short against Woodford County and fell 3-1.

The final score came out to 25-15, 21-25, 25-21, 25-21.

The losing side was boosted by Sarah Biliter, who had 14 digs and two aces.

Meanwhile, Henry Clay hadn't done well against Woodford County recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Blue Devils came out on top against the Yellowjackets by a score of 3-1.

Henry Clay's win was their tenth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-6. As for Lexington Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-11.

Lexington Christian couldn't quite get it done against Henry Clay when the teams last played back in October of 2024 as they fell 3-1. Can the Eagles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
