Baseball Recap: Mohave Accelerated Takes a Loss

Mohave Accelerated was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 7-6 heartbreaker at the hands of the Chinle Wildcats.

Mohave Accelerated saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tanner Picard, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Mohave Accelerated's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Chinle, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Coincidentally, Mohave Accelerated and Chinle will both be playing White Pine the next time they take the field. Chinle will head out to face White Pine at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, while Mohave Accelerated will play them later in the day, at 2:30 p.m.
