Basketball Recap: Amsterdam Has No Trouble Against South Glens Falls

Amsterdam's game last Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They strolled past the South Glens Falls Bulldogs with points to spare, taking the game 53-37. This was payback for the Rams, who suffered a 38-35 loss the last time these two teams met.

Amsterdam now has a winning record of 3-2. As for South Glens Falls, their defeat was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Amsterdam will finish 2024 at home by hosting Saugerties at 12:20 p.m. on December 27th. As for South Glens Falls, they will be home for the holidays to greet Schuylerville at 12:30 p.m. on Monday. South Glens Falls is facing Schuylerville at the right time seeing as Schuylerville is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
