Basketball Recap: Douglass Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Douglass was the 94-32 winner over Crosstown when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Red Devils fell 70-65 to the Yetis on Tuesday.

Douglass' loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Crosstown, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-7 record this season.

Douglass and Crosstown could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Tennessee Rankings. Douglass will take on Germantown at 7:30 p.m. on Friday with a big rank disadvantage (306 vs. 105). Meanwhile, Crosstown (ranked 346th) will meet Memphis Academy of Science and Engineering (ranked 119th) at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
