The Simsboro Tigers will take on the Bastrop Rams at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Simsboro is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 11 runs per game this season.

Simsboro fell victim to Haughton and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Buccaneers, falling 15-0. Having soared to a lofty 18 runs in the game before, the Tigers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Meanwhile, Bastrop was able to grind out a solid victory over Forest on Tuesday, taking the game 5-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Rams.

Simsboro's loss dropped their record down to 13-7. As for Bastrop, their win bumped their record up to 6-7.

Simsboro might still be hurting after the 12-2 defeat they got from Bastrop in their previous matchup back in March of 2019. Can Simsboro avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
