Shelton's game last Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Aberdeen Bobcats. The Highclimbers' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Zaine Scott was excellent, scoring two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Zaine Harding, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Shelton always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .568. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Shelton moved to 2-5 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Aberdeen, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Shelton will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Bobcats: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
