Courtland is a perfect 10-0 against James Monroe since March of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Cougars will host the Yellow Jackets at 4:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Courtland came up short against Spotsylvania on Monday, falling 15-7. The defeat continues a trend for the Cougars in their meetings with the Knights: they've now lost six in a row.

Courtland saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bella Attard, who went 3-for-5 with two doubles and two RBI. Brooklyn Buchanan was another, going 1-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Meanwhile, James Monroe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 20-1 to King George.

Courtland's defeat dropped their record down to 6-12. As for James Monroe, their loss dropped their record down to 4-13.
