Basketball Recap: Heartland Comes Up Short

Heartland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were dealt a 64-20 defeat at the hands of the Drexel Bobcats. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Mustangs of the 56-25 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2024.

Heartland's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Drexel, their win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0.

Coming up, Heartland will head out to take on Bethel Academy at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Drexel, they will be taking part in a tournament against Windsor at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
