Basketball Recap: Casady Cyclones vs. Harding Prep
Casady was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 74-69 heartbreaker at the hands of Harding Prep. If the Cyclones were looking for revenge after losing 74-67 to them when the teams met back in January of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.
Casady's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of James Elder, who dropped a double-double with 21 points and 19 rebounds, and Davis Currie, who went 9-for-20 on his way to 21 points. With that strong performance, Elder is now averaging an impressive 8.2 boards per game. Jozef Pikula was another key player, putting up seven points and five rebounds.
