Volleyball Recap: Archbold Victorious

Archbold won the last time they faced Hilltop and things went their way on Saturday too. The Blue Streaks came out on top against the Cadets by a score of 3-1.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-20, 22-25, 25-12.

Scarlett Brehm was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had eight digs and four aces.

Brehm wasn't the only good server: Archbold was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 15 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 29 consecutive games dating back to last season.

Archbold now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Hilltop, their defeat was their first of the season and also makes their record 2-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Archbold will face off against Springfield at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Hilltop, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Hicksville at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
