After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Northview Academy, Morristown-Hamblen West was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They blew past the Jefferson County Patriots 3-0. The Trojans haven't had any issues with the Patriots recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

While Morristown-Hamblen West won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 27-25, 25-8.

Morristown-Hamblen West's win bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Jefferson County, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-3.
