Basketball Recap: Hanford Takes a Loss

Hanford lost against Kennewick back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Hanford Falcons came up short against the Kennewick Lions, falling 67-47. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 275th, while the Lions are ranked 68th).

Hanford's loss dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Kennewick, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-5.

Hanford will face off against Pasco at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hanford is facing Pasco at the right time seeing as Pasco is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Kennewick, they will challenge Walla Walla at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Kennewick knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past ten matchups -- so hopefully Walla Walla likes a good challenge.
