A Season-Best Effort from Aj Lowe Leads Sulligent over Lamar County
Aj Lowe produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Sulligent to the win on Friday. Lowe rushed for 146 yards and three touchdowns on only nine carries. The effort marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in October of 2023.
Unfortunately for Lamar County, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Lowe. Lowe rushed for 196 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 carries the last time he and the Bulldogs duked it out back in October of 2023.

Tuscaloosa Academy Gets a Boost from Lancaster in 35-21 Victory
Preston Lancaster was instrumental in extending Tuscaloosa Academy's winning streak to six on Friday. Lancaster was dynamite, throwing for 327 yards and four touchdowns while completing 72.4% of his passes, and also rushing for 75 yards on only ten carries. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in September of 2023.
If history really does repeat itself, Lancaster might just drop another big game when he faces off against Lamar County on Friday. Lancaster threw for 338 yards and four touchdowns while completing 76.5% of his passes, and also rushed for 76 yards and a touchdown the last time he and the Bulldogs duked it out back in September of 2023.

Landon Archer Turns in Season-Best Effort
Vincent came up short on Friday despite Landon Archer delivering his best game to date. Archer picked up 189 receiving yards and a touchdown. He torched the secondary when he pulled down a catch that went for 72 yards.
The loss snapped Vincent's losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 5-1 record. It'll be a Battle of the Bugs Yellow Jackets faces off against Aliceville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Kelvies Snoddy's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Greene County over Aliceville
Kelvies Snoddy posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 135 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.9 yards per carry.
For the season, Snoddy has averaged 106.8 passing yards per game. It gets even more impressive: after six games last season, he was only averaging 7.33 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 109 rushing yards.

Unfortunately for Aliceville, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Wilder Jr. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Wilder Jr. saw the Yellowjackets), he rushed for 197 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries.
