Basketball Recap: Inspired Vision Comes Up Short

Inspired Vision was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 19th straight defeat dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 72-0 loss at the hands of the Trinity Leadership Tigers. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the EAGLES this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in December of 2024.

Trinity Leadership's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Emani Taylor led the charge by putting up 19 points. Taylor continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Ja'Lee Standley was another key player, posting 16 points.

Inspired Vision's loss dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Trinity Leadership, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 13-11 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Inspired Vision will take on A Plus Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 21st. As for Trinity Leadership, they will square off against Village Tech at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in Trinity Leadership's favor as the team sits on six straight wins at home while Village Tech has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
