The Long Beach Poly Jackrabbits will head out to challenge the Notre Dame (SO) Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Long Beach Poly is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Mira Costa just ended the team's five-match winning streak on Friday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mustangs.

Meanwhile, Notre Dame (SO) waltzed into their contest on Thursday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Pandas.

While Notre Dame (SO) won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-16, 25-22.

Long Beach Poly's loss dropped their record down to 20-7. As for Notre Dame (SO), their win bumped their record up to 15-6.

Long Beach Poly took their victory against Notre Dame (SO) in their previous meeting back in October of 2023 by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Jackrabbits since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
