Soccer Recap: Morgan City Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Morgan City's game last Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Westgate Tigers by a score of 3-1. The win was some much needed relief for Morgan City as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Yenifer Garcia and Geraldine Martinez scored all three of Morgan City's goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

Morgan City's victory bumped their record up to 3-8. As for Westgate, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Morgan City will take on South Terrebonne in a tournament on Friday. As for Westgate, they will be home for the holidays to greet St. Martinville at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
