LaFayette waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with nine straight wins... but they left with ten. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Ridgeland Panthers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 two weeks ago.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant LaFayette was: they took both sets by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-7.

Their offense was headlined by Makenna Clarke and Macee Casteel, who picked up seven kills apiece. They got some help from Jaslyn Capello and her 19 assists. Clarke also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Gracie Rambo, racking up three apiece.

LaFayette's victory bumped their record up to 17-4. As for Ridgeland, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-12.

LaFayette has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against North Murray on the 6th. As for Ridgeland, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Coosa on the 9th.
