Recap: Bainbridge-Guilford Bobcats vs. Spencer-Van Etten/Candor Eagles
There's no place like home for The Bainbridge-Guilford Bobcats, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Thursday. They walked away with a 25-18 win over Spencer-Van Etten/Candor on Friday. The win was just what Bainbridge-Guilford needed coming off of a 56-0 loss in their prior game.
Bainbridge-Guilford's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Connor Davy, who threw for 107 yards and three touchdowns. Another player making a difference was Parker Buttice, who picked up 69 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Bainbridge-Guilford's victory bumped their record up to 5-5. As for Spencer-Van Etten/Candor, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season.
Bainbridge-Guilford will head out on the road to face off against Whitney Point at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Whitney Point is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak. As for Spencer-Van Etten/Candor, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lansing on Thursday.
