Cornerstone Christian is 6-1 against Heritage Christian since January of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Cornerstone Christian Lions will head out to challenge the Heritage Christian Eagles at 5:00 p.m. Heritage Christian took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Cornerstone Christian, who comes in off a win.

Last Tuesday, Cornerstone Christian strolled past First Baptist Academy with points to spare, taking the game 51-34. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lions.

Meanwhile, Heritage Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. The match between them and Hill Country Christian didn't end well, with Heritage Christian falling 54-36. One positive for the Eagles, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Cornerstone Christian is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season. As for Heritage Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.

Cornerstone Christian beat Heritage Christian 41-29 in their previous meeting back in January of 2024. Does Cornerstone Christian have another victory up their sleeve, or will Heritage Christian turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
