Preview: St. Bonaventure Seraphs vs. Cajon Cowboys
St. Bonaventure is on a three-game streak of home wins, while Cajon is on a three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The St. Bonaventure Seraphs will take on the Cajon Cowboys at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
With a playoff game on the line, St. Bonaventure rose to the challenge on Friday. They took down Etiwanda 43-26. The high flying offensive effort was a huge turnaround for St. Bonaventure's ten-point performance the game before.
Koen Glover was a one-man wrecking crew for St. Bonaventure as he rushed for 178 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.1 yards per carry. Glover was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 62 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Anthony Wolter, who threw for 209 yards and three touchdowns while completing 100% of his passes.
Meanwhile, Cajon earned a 27-17 win over Pacifica on Friday.
Evan Powell looked great while leading his team to the win, rushing for 69 yards and two touchdowns, while also throwing for 184 yards and two touchdowns. Another player making a difference was Izaiah Holley, who picked up 93 receiving yards and a touchdown.
St. Bonaventure has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. As for Cajon, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 8-3.
