Football Game Preview: Pahokee Blue Devils vs. Fort Meade Miners + Official Tickets

After each having a week off, the Pahokee Blue Devils and the Fort Meade Miners will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Pahokee's offense might be in the hot seat on Thursday considering what happened against Glades Central last Friday. They received a blow as they fell 14-0 to the Raiders. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Blue Devils were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, Fort Meade suffered their biggest loss since October 4, 2024 last Friday. They lost 34-8 to IMG Academy Junior National. The defensive woes were uncharacteristic for the Miners, who until this game were averaging 12.9 points allowed.

Fort Meade's defeat dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Pahokee, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 7-3.

Pahokee was able to grind out a solid win over Fort Meade in their previous meeting back in October of 2016, winning 21-14. Do the Blue Devils have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Miners turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
