Volleyball Recap: St. Laurence Extends Home Winning Streak to Six

There's no place like home for St. Laurence, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They came out on top against the Nazareth Academy Roadrunners by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Vikings also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2024.

The victory didn't come easy: Nazareth Academy scored at least 21 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-21.

Leading St. Laurence to victory were Julie Marquez and Leah Romano. Marquez had four digs and four aces, while Romano had eight digs and three assists.

St. Laurence pushed their record up to 1-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, St. Laurence will face off against Jones at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Nazareth Academy, they will take on Mother McAuley at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
