Central waltzed into their game on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They snuck past the Jackson Fighting Indians with a 48-42 victory. This was a revenge game for the Tigers: when they faced off against the Fighting Indians back in December of 2024, they had to take a 50-41 defeat.

Central has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. As for Jackson, they moved to 15-3 with that loss, which also ended their 11-game winning streak.

Central and Jackson should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Missouri Rankings. Central (ranked 39th) will meet Hillsboro (ranked 215th) at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Similarly, Jackson will take on Notre Dame at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday up 77 places (25 vs. 102).
