A Season-Best Effort from Nicolas Horowitz Leads New Paltz over Liberty

On Friday, New Paltz got the W thanks in part to Nicolas Horowitz playing the best football he has all season. Horowitz rushed for 166 yards and three touchdowns on only 15 carries.

New Paltz moved to 2-4 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak. Horowitz and New Paltz are on the road again on Saturday to play Highland at 1:00 p.m.

He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up a sack and making six total tackles (2.5 for loss).

Marlboro Central's loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-1. Montaperto and Marlboro Central will challenge Burke Catholic at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
