Volleyball Recap: Desert Ridge Jaguars vs. Higley Knights

Desert Ridge took Higley into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking seven-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-22, 13-25, 19-25, 15-8.
Jenna Good was nothing short of spectacular for Higley: she had 18 digs and three aces. Good is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in the last three games she's played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Shelby Sluiter, who had four digs and two aces.
Desert Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Higley, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 12-15-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Desert Ridge will challenge Williams Field at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Higley, they will take on Highland at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
