Harker fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Independence on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the 76ers by a score of 7-6. The Eagles' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Harker's defeat dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Independence, they pushed their record up to 9-3 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home.
