Denver Christian barely beat Jefferson Academy the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Thunder blew past the Jaguars 3-0 on Thursday. Winning may never get old, but the Thunder sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Denver Christian walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-13, 25-23.

Amina Weber paced Denver Christian's offense, picking up 20 kills. Weber got some help from Anna Price and her 16 assists. Weber was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Denver Christian's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Jefferson Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Denver Christian will be playing at home against Buena Vista at 10:30 a.m. on September 6. As for Jefferson Academy, they have already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Lutheran on the 29th.
