Volleyball Recap: South Stokes Beats South Davidson for Their Third Straight Victory

South Stokes entered their tilt with South Davidson on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Wildcats 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on September 4th.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant South Stokes was: they took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-7, 25-9.

Their offense was headlined by Tianna Corum and Olivia Amos, who picked up seven kills apiece. Amos really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with 18. She also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Ellie White, each putting up five.

South Stokes' victory bumped their record up to 13-6. As for South Davidson, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season.
