Softball Recap: Section Comes Up Short

Section might've scored the first runs on Tuesday, but it was Geraldine who claimed the real prize. The Lions fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 5-4.

Section has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-15-1 record this season. As for Geraldine, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 17-13-1 record this season.

Section will venture away from home to challenge Fort Payne at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Geraldine, they will take on Douglas at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
