There's no place like home for Franklin Central, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They came out on top against the Shelbyville Golden Bears by a score of 2-0 on Saturday. The Flashes haven't had any issues with the Golden Bears recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-20.

Franklin Central's offense was headlined by Ryelle Koomler and Brooklyn Wake, who picked up eight kills apiece. They got some help from Emily Williams and her 23 assists. Koomler was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Franklin Central's win bumped their record up to 19-10. As for Shelbyville, they dropped their record down to 11-19 with the loss, which was their eighth straight on the road.

Coincidentally, Franklin Central and Shelbyville will both be playing Perry Meridian the next time they take the court. The Flashes will head out to face the Falcons at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, while the Golden Bears will play them later in the day, at 2:30 p.m.
