Football Recap: Adams Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Adams lost against North Mesquite back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Cougars had to suffer through a 55-7 loss at the hands of the Stallions. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Adams still got an impressive performance from Lowell Powell-Cumby, who rushed for 80 yards and one score.

North Mesquite was led to victory by Terrance Collins and Julien Simpson. Collins rushed for 158 yards and three TDs on only seven carries, while Simpson rushed for 118 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only six carries. Collins' longest rush was for an impressive 62 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

Adams now has a losing record of 1-2. As for North Mesquite, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.
