Soccer Recap: Waterloo Comes Up Short

If Waterloo was riding high fresh off their 5-0 takedown of Crestview on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Vikings lost 8-1 to the Louisville Leopards on Saturday. While losing is never fun, Waterloo can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 232nd, while Louisville are ranked 107th).

Waterloo's goal came courtesy of Koralee Jenior, who's now up to 17 this season.

Waterloo's loss dropped their record down to 7-3-1. As for Louisville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-4-1 record this season.

Waterloo wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Southeast on the 23rd. As for Louisville, they will head out to challenge Buckeye at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
