Softball Recap: Roybal Find Success

It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Roybal ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Belmont Sentinels a 27-0 shutout. The Titans have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Sentinels, too.

Roybal's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Belmont, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Coming up, Roybal will host Robert F. Kennedy Community at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Belmont, they will take on Contreras at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Belmont has given up an average of 14 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
