Basketball Recap: Vergennes Takes a Loss

Vergennes was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 55-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Otter Valley Otters. The Commodores were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Otters apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Vergennes now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Otter Valley, their win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-9.

Vergennes will host Colchester at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Otter Valley, they will head out to face off against Rutland at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
