Basketball Recap: Naperville Central Takes a Loss

Naperville Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 66-65 heartbreaker at the hands of the Oswego Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 53-47 back in November of 2024.

Naperville Central's defeat dropped their record down to 7-18. As for Oswego, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-16.

Coming up, Naperville Central will square off against Metea Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Metea Valley's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four matches. As for Oswego, they will challenge Minooka at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
