Soccer Recap: Lexington Takes a Loss

If Lexington was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Irmo last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Lexington Wildcats fell just short of the Chapin Eagles by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Lexington's defeat dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Chapin, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-5.

Looking ahead, Lexington will host Dutch Fork at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Chapin, they will venture away from home to face off against River Bluff at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
