Volleyball Recap: Antioch Comes Up Short

Antioch was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They came up short against the Heritage Patriots, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-11, 25-13.

Antioch's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Heritage, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.

Antioch will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Freedom at 6:00 p.m. on the 14th. As for Heritage, they will face off against Liberty at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
