Wilson Area is 8-1 against Notre Dame since April of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Warriors will face off against the Spartans at 4:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Wilson Area managed to slip by Notre Dame-Green Pond the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Warriors came up short against the Crusaders on Monday, falling 10-3. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Wilson Area saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Owen Miller, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Meanwhile, Notre Dame lost 8-1 to East Stroudsburg North on Monday. The Spartans have struggled against the Timberwolves recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Notre Dame's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Wilson Area, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-6.

Everything went Wilson Area's way against Notre Dame in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, as Wilson Area made off with a 15-0 victory. Will the Warriors repeat their success, or do the Spartans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
