Soccer Game Preview: Landrum vs. Andrew Jackson

The Landrum Cardinals will head out on the road to face off against the Andrew Jackson Volunteers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Landrum is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. Everything went their way against Pelion as they made off with a 5-2 victory. Tristan Barker was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

Meanwhile, Andrew Jackson had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3 goals) and they went ahead and made it five on Monday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Cyclones a 7-0 shutout.
