Basketball Recap: Ricky Stroup Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Hudson Ridge

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Granville, Lake George was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They enjoyed a cozy 58-44 win over the Hudson Ridge Thunder Chicken.

Lake George got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Ricky Stroup out in front who dropped a double-double on 21 points and ten boards. Dan Weaver was another key player, going 6 of 11 on his way to 15 points and six rebounds.

Lake George smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 22 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've posted since back in January of 2024.

Lake George's win bumped their record up to 3-10. As for Hudson Ridge, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-4.
