Basketball Recap: Algona Comes Up Short

Algona was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were dealt a 90-48 defeat at the hands of the Humboldt Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, with their most recent loss being a 71-56 defeat two weeks ago.

Algona's loss dropped their record down to 8-14. As for Humboldt, they have been performing well recently as they've won 12 of their last 15 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season.

As of now, neither Algona nor Humboldt have any future games scheduled.
