Volleyball Recap: Miami-Yoder Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Miami-Yoder lost against Thomas MacLaren School back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Buffaloes came up short against the Highlanders, falling 3-0. The Buffaloes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-12, 25-12.

Miranda Howard paced Miami-Yoder's offense, picking up five kills. Howard really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with seven. Joselyne Beltran controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Miami-Yoder's loss dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Thomas MacLaren School, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.

Coincidentally, Miami-Yoder and Thomas MacLaren School will both be playing Fountain Valley the next time they take the court. The Highlanders will host the Danes at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Buffaloes will host them at 4:30 p.m. on the 30th.
