Basketball Recap: Vicksburg Continues Home Dominance on Tuesday

Vicksburg lost to Ridgeland back in January, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Vicksburg Gators put the hurt on the Ridgeland Titans with a sharp 63-41 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Gators.

Despite the loss, Ridgeland still got an impressive performance from Jordan Austin, who posted 21 points and three steals. That's the most points Austin has posted since back in November of 2024. Jaelyn Luckett was another key player, putting up ten points.

Vicksburg pushed their record up to 14-9 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.2 points per game. As for Ridgeland, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-14 record this season.
