Baseball Preview: Northshore Panthers vs. Slidell Tigers
The Northshore Panthers will head out on the road to take on the Slidell Tigers at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Northshore comes in on 12 and Slidell on six.
On Saturday, Northshore needed a bit of extra time to put away Fontainebleau. They had just enough and edged out the Bulldogs 5-3. The game was the first time the Panthers have beaten the Bulldogs on their field since April 2, 2022.
Jacob Neely looked comfortable as he pitched 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.
