North County benefitted from Voss in 11-7 loss
Sadly, Colin Voss posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead North County over Arundel on Friday. Voss made a splash, striking out six batters over 5.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and six unearned) runs off four hits. It looks like he has Arundel's number considering he had a big game the last time he faced them, too. Voss has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive pitching appearances.
Voss and North County will head out on the road to face off against Chesapeake at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Chesapeake will enter the matchup having just beaten Meade, so North County will have to guard against a team looking to keep the ball rolling.
