Softball Recap: Satellite Takes a Loss

Satellite was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 8-1 to the Pembroke Pines Charter Jaguars.

Satellite's loss dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Pembroke Pines Charter, the win snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 6-8 record.

Coming up, Satellite will welcome Merritt Island Christian at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Merritt Island Christian has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.44 runs per game on average), something Satellite will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Pembroke Pines Charter, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Pembroke Pines Charter Jaguars take on Dwyer Panthers at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday.
