Basketball Recap: Scottsboro Comes Up Short

Scottsboro was the 86-64 winner over Albertville when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Wildcats lost 75-49 to the Aggies on Saturday. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Scottsboro now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Albertville, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-2.

Coming up, Scottsboro will take on Selma in a tournament on Friday. The Wildcats will be up against the Saints' rather soft defense (which has allowed 54.13 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Albertville, they will be taking part in a tournament against McGill-Toolen at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
