Basketball Game Preview: Shaler Area Titans vs. Penn Hills Indians

The Shaler Area Titans will head out on the road to challenge the Penn Hills Indians at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Penn Hills took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Shaler Area, who comes in off a win.

Last Friday, Shaler Area escaped with a win against Plum by the margin of a single free throw, 60-59. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Titans.

Meanwhile, Penn Hills lost to Aliquippa at home by a 57-43 margin on Saturday. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 279th, while the Quips are ranked 114th).

Penn Hills' loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-8. As for Shaler Area, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-9.

Shaler Area came up short against Penn Hills in their previous meeting on January 3rd, falling 82-70. Can Shaler Area avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
