Volleyball Recap: FAU High Takes a Loss + How To Watch

FAU High lost against American Heritage on September 4th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Owls fell just short of the Stallions by a score of 3-2. The Owls have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

FAU High was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made American Heritage work for it, especially in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 23-25, 26-24, 17-25, 15-11.

American Heritage got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Daniela Staton out in front who had 16 digs and three assists. Staton has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more digs the last nine times she's played. Arianna Alves was another key player, getting 24 assists and seven digs.

FAU High's defeat dropped their record down to 6-11. As for American Heritage, their victory bumped their record up to 4-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, FAU High and Grandview Prep will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for American Heritage, they will challenge Dreyfoos School of the Arts at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
